UK and International Delivery Charges
The price of the products will be the price quoted on the website at the date the order is received and will include VAT if applicable. Delivery costs via our website are in addition to the price quoted and are as follows:

Our UK courier is Royal Mail. On occasion, we may use UPS or Parcelforce. A tracking number is provided once your order is dispatched and Royal Mail will provide you with delivery updates via email. We endeavour to deliver quickly, but please allow up to 5 working days for standard or free delivery.
Please note that orders placed for delivery outside of the UK will be subject to import tax. Further details below.

Please note: Our international courier UPS has suspended all operations in Ukraine, Belarus, and Russia. Therefore, we are not currently shipping to these countries. They are monitoring the situation in the Middle East, and shipping availability is subject to change.
Taxes and Duties
Delivery to countries inside and outside of the EU
As of 1st January 2021, shipments from the UK to the EU are no longer subject to VAT.Shipments sent outside of the UKare sold exclusive of VAT and may be subject to import duties and taxes, which may be levied once a shipment reaches your country. Please note: It is a legal requirement that we declare the full value of the goods (not including shipping charges) on all packages destined both inside andoutside the European Union, and shipments may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are to be paid by yourselfonce a shipment reaches your country. It is a criminal offense to falsify the details on this form. We cannot inaccurately describe the contents, claim a lower value or mark as a gift. Please do not ask, or expect us to do any of the above. For details of Customs charges please consult your own Customs authorities for the latest rates.

If these fees are left unpaid, the products will be held by customs for a certain period, after which they will be returned to us. We are within our rights to charge the recipient for the cost of returning the goods to the UK. As we are not liable for these fees, we have no responsibility to refund your order or send it again if the goods are destroyed by customs rather than returned to us.
Please note that all import and duties fees enforced by customs upon receiving your order are non-refundable. If you return your order for a refund, you cannot claim back on the import fees paid as the goods would have been shipped from the UK, outside of the European Union.
Delivery to the US
When ordering from William Evans Ltd. you are considered the importer of record. Orders will be liable for duties and import taxes. The customs territory of the US includes the 50 US States, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.
Orders to the US are subject to duties and import taxes, which must be paid by yourself. Unfortunately we have no control over these charges. We are unable to reimburse any costs incurred regardless of the circumstances. By ordering with us, you accept these fees and waver your right to cancel your order once it reaches US Customs and Border Protection.
If these fees are left unpaid, the products will be held by US customs for a certain period, after which they will be destroyed. As we are not liable for these fees, we have no responsibility to refund your order or send it again.
Please note that all import and duties fees enforced by customs upon receiving your order are non-refundable. If you return your order for a refund, you cannot claim back on the import fees paid.
Important: Parcels requiring the payment of duties, taxes and other government-related charges (“Duties”) will be assessed an additional fee of $12 USD if those Duties are not paid prior to delivery. The ICOD Fee will be charged to the U.S. recipient. William Evans provide UPS with your contact information so that they can reach out to you prior to delivery. Recipients can avoid these charges if they pay the applicable Duties electronically through the UPS Import Payment Processing Application (IPPA) using Apple Pay, Google Pay, or with a credit card (Visa, Mastercard or Discover). In addition to the notification, a link to pay the Duties will also be provided with the UPS.com tracking results for the shipment. This will enable U.S. recipients to submit payments in advance and avoid the ICOD Fee. These fees are issued by U.S. customs and are out of our control.
US Ends $800 De Minimis Rule: What it Means for UK-to-US Orders
As of 29th August 2025, shipments from the UK to the US are liable for additional taxes, regardless of the value of the order. Previously, orders under $800 were exempt from some of these charges.
Now thatthede minimisexemption is removed,all imported goods from the UK, regardless of value, will be treated as formal imports. This requires every shipment to go through full customs clearance, and most will attract import duty, state sales tax, and an administrative fee, as well as potential delays in delivery. We would recommend taking advantage of the IPPA mentioned above to help avoid further delays.

International Orders
We are unable to pass delivery instructions to UPS to deliver to a neighboring property or "safe place", the consignee must sign for the item intended for the recipient. This is because if duties are still unpaid for that parcel, UPS will need to speak with the recipient directly to collect that payment.
UK Orders
A Royal Mail Tracked service will be used to deliver your parcel. They will provide a photograph of the delivery location if not handed directly to the resident.
Please email us should you wish for us to dispatch on a designated day. All orders are sent out within 3 - 5 working days. For Click and Collect orders, we will email you once your order is ready for collection.
