William Evans offers to purchase or sell guns on behalf of clients for 20% plus VAT.  We appraise shotguns, rifles, scopes and selected accessories at Bisley in Surrey or our London Gun Room which is a tempting convenience. 

Simply arrange to bring your gun to either Gun Room by contacting us to visit for an approximate valuation.

We are unfortunately not currently in a position to purchase second-hand guns via our Bisley Gunroom. We can, however, sell them on your behalf through Sale or Return.

What next?

Your Gun is then taken to Bisley to be inspected by the Gun Servicing Manager who will ensure it's good to go. Once this is confirmed, the gun is entered into sale at either London or Bisley branches, to be displayed in our prestigious gun rooms. We may also place the gun on Gun Trader, the nations largest used guns sale website which reaches a large audience, all over the world.

We may offer to buy the gun outright, or alternatively it's sold on a sale-or-return basis, with the commission set at a recommended discretionary 20 percent. This commission is discretionary and may be reduced should the gun be of considerable value. Your gun is for sale in our gun room for 2 months (or longer depending on your requirements). Guns can be picked up after that time should they not sell, or stored in our Storage Gun Room thereafter for a small fee.

Once your gun is sold and we have received clear funds from the party of whom it's been purchased, we pay you via bank transfer within 30 days.
