General Terms
For magazine bolt action rifles a deposit of 50% is payable on commencement of the order. The remaining 50% is payable upon completion of the order. Any optional extra's added after commencement of the order are subject to prices ruling at the time they are included. In the event of order cancellations, any refunds of deposits, part or full payments are made at the sole discretion of William Evans Limited and are subject to the sale-ability of the work in hand and any costs of modifications for resale. Ordering new gunsSpecificationsAs each new William Evans gun is specifically made to order for a particular client, details such as barrel lengths, weight, choice for wood and engravings are all discussed and agreed in writing with the client before work commences. All William Evans guns and rifles (with the exception of Magazine bolt action rifles) are finally presented to the client in a fitted oak & leather or light-weight leather case with nickel-silver or brass cleaning accessories depending on preference. The price guide is inclusive of cases (with the exception of Magazine rifles). The price guide above is inclusive of traditional William Evans bold scroll engraving. Game scenes may also be commissioned for which there is an additional charge of £1,000 (plus VAT) per gun or rifle. Engravings incorporating gold inlay work are not included in the price guide above. Delivery for Shotguns and Double Barrelled Rifles is approximately 24 months. Delivery for Magazine rifles is approximately between 6 and 12 months depending on calibre.
