Lancaster 12 bore Damascus Back Action - The "Wrist-Breaker"
The most magnificant example of the most famous of Lancaster shotguns. This piece is maybe the finest example of the famed "Wrist-Breaker", a strong self-opening back action gun. The gun was made in 1890 and retains much colour and the scroll engraving is incredibly crisp. The barrels appear never to have been re-browned at any stage and are in spectacular condition. It is the slightly early side-lever model, making it even more rare. The gun has 30" barrels which have thick walls and are choked imp.cyl and 7/8. The beautifully figured stock is 14 1/8" long and the whole piece weighs 6 lbs 14 oz. Whilst definitely a collector's piece, it is still very much a usable gun. Please contact our Gun Room staff for more information about this suberb piece.
