Best quality dipped lock sidelock ejector by the famous London Gun and Rifle maker, J. Rigby & Co. With a brushed bright, crisply engraved scroll action, the gun has the renowned "Rigby-Bissell Rising Bite" . This patented third bite adds terrific strength to the action. The barrels are 30", choked cylinder and 1/2 and the stock is 15" including a leather covered recoil pad. The weight is 6 lbs 12 oz. From the most famous of London Gunmakers comes this early 1900s gun, still with its original barrels. The condition is fabulous, it still remains tight and the action retains a small amount of colour on its scroll engraving. The barrels are 30" and the stock is very well figured at 15". The most magnificant example of the most famous of Lancaster shotguns. This piece is maybe the finest example of the famed "Wrist-Breaker", a strong self-opening back action gun. The gun was made in 1890 and retains much colour and the scroll engraving is incredibly crisp. The barrels appear never to have been re-browned at any stage and are in spectacular condition. It is the slightly early side-lever model, making it even more rare. The gun has 30" barrels which have thick walls and are choked imp.cyl and 7/8. The beautifully figured stock is 14 1/8" long and the whole piece weighs 6 lbs 14 oz. Whilst definitely a collector's piece, it is still very much a usable gun.
